About
Most of the men I work with don't reach out because they're looking for someone to simply listen. By the time they contact me, they've often spent months—or years—trying to understand their behavior, regain control, repair relationships, and become the person they want to be.
They may be struggling with compulsive sexual behavior, pornography use, secrecy, shame, or the consequences these behaviors have had on their relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being. Often, they feel stuck between wanting change and not knowing how to create it.
My role is to help bridge that gap.
As a specialist in sex and pornography addiction, I provide a structured, evidence-based approach that balances support with accountability. Understanding why a behavior developed can be important, but insight alone rarely creates lasting change. Our work focuses not only on understanding the problem, but also on developing the tools, skills, and strategies necessary to move beyond it.
Drawing upon the pioneering work of Patrick Carnes and other evidence-based treatment models, I help clients identify patterns, understand the underlying factors driving their behavior, and build a practical plan for recovery. We work toward creating a healthier relationship with yourself, your sexuality, and the people who matter most to you.
Sex and pornography addiction rarely exist in isolation. Many of the men I work with also struggle with shame, low self-worth, anxiety, intimacy difficulties, relationship conflict, and a persistent sense that their actions do not align with their values. Treatment addresses these challenges as well, helping clients develop greater integrity, confidence, and connection in their daily lives.
How We Get Started
The first step is simply reaching out.
We'll begin with a brief consultation to determine whether my services are a good fit for your needs and to answer any questions you may have. During our initial sessions, I'll work to understand your concerns, history, goals, and the impact these behaviors have had on your life.
A comprehensive assessment helps guide the treatment process and allows us to develop a clear, individualized plan for our work together.
From there, we begin the process of identifying the beliefs, experiences, and patterns that have kept you stuck while building healthier ways of coping, connecting, and living.
A Better Path Forward
The goal is not simply to stop unwanted behaviors.
The goal is to create lasting change.
Recovery is about developing a stronger sense of identity, building healthier relationships, increasing self-respect, and living in a way that aligns with your values. It is about creating a better path forward—one built on integrity, connection, purpose, and personal growth.
